Sometimes life kicks you in the (yarn) balls.

My world went a bit sideways last month and things are a little up in the air. My mom went to the hospital for a heart attack and ended up having a stroke while she was there. This means, she's had to move in with me, she can't drive or work. I'm trying to figure out how to get her the help she needs and pay for her things. My mom is recovering amazingly well and will be able to live on her own at some point. I've been busy driving her to all her appointments and driving everyone else wherever they need to go. I'm currently the only person in my household that can drive. I've been totally knocked off kilter. Stress is high and no fun yarn things are getting done.

I even thought about closing Apocalypse Friday. Seriously.

It was heartbreaking. I'm still not sure what will happen with my little yarn biz. I love it so much it's hard to let go.

To help with my mom, I need a fat stack of cash within the next 30 days. I've started a Go Fund Me. You can read about it by clicking here.

Something else I'm doing to help raise the money is offering hand knits.

Hat $70 Cowl $130 Scarf $190

If you want to help but can't do that much you can donate any amount. I'll give you a coupon of equal value to use in my my yarn shop.

All you have to do is use the PayPal link and tell me what color yarn you'd like me to use.

I will not be able to hand dye yarn for you for these items, because of all the chaos in my house, but I will be using beautiful quality yarns. No cheap acrylic here.

Please share this post & the Go Fund Me.

Thank you.
